Things to Do in Trincomalee

Trincomalee, often called Trinco, sits on Sri Lanka's northeast coast. It offers white sand beaches, clear water, Hindu culture, and fresh seafood. While many travelers head south, Trinco remains a quieter spot. You can relax on the sand, swim with turtles, or visit ancient temples. There are plenty of things to do in Trincomalee to keep you busy for a few days, at least. I've spent time here twice and it's a favorite.
